With this plan, subscribers were able to enjoy an ad-free viewing experience. However, it didn’t have premium features like offline download, background playback, or any Youtube Benefits of music.
After Premium Lite is discontinued, users will have the option to switch back to the regular YouTube app or subscribe to the higher-priced YouTube Premium, which includes YouTube Music.
