X Premium Users will be able to Hide Their Preferences.

Premium users on X, formerly Twitter, can now hide their likes from the public by making the tab disappear entirely. The new feature can be enabled through the preference settings.

The feature appears to be aimed at getting new patrons to sign up for X’s premium subscription, especially as the company’s ad revenue in the U.S. has dropped by 60 percent. XCEO, Elon Musk, appeals to consumers who don’t want their followers to judge them on their tweet likes.

Read: WhatsApp has denied reports that the platform is looking for ads.

A premium subscription costs $8/month or $84/year which gives users early access to new features and access to receive blue verified checks.
