After the dissolution or resignation of provincial assemblies by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, general elections will be held or by-elections will be held. The Election Commission said.
The spokesperson of Election Commission has said in the statement that when the provincial assembly is dissolved, the election of the relevant provincial assembly will be held again.
The spokesperson says that by-elections will be held in their constituencies within 60 days of all the members who have resigned.
He has said that about five to seven crores will be spent on elections in any provincial constituency. Re-election of Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly will cost at least 22 and a half billion.
After the dissolution of the two assemblies, the Election Commission will have to conduct by-elections in 411 constituencies in the provinces.
