The federal government has raised objections to the joint investigation team on the Wazirabad tragedy.

According to the details, the Federal Ministry of Interior has sent a letter to the Punjab Interior Department on the issue of the Joint Investigation Team, while the Federal Government has also raised objections on the Joint Investigation Team.

The Federal Ministry of Interior has said that all the members of the Joint Investigation Team belong to the Punjab Police, while the JIT does not include any representative of any other agency or secret agency.

The federal government has proposed to include representatives of ISI and IB in the JIT.

The federal government has said that it would be good if the Punjab government also includes representatives of federal agencies in this JIT.

The federal government further says that the Punjab government has appointed CCPO Lahore Ghulam Mahmood Dogar as the head of the JIT, while he has been suspended by the establishment division.
