Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Fawad Chaudhry has said that the situation cannot be improved until people’s decisions are accepted.

Speaking to the media outside the Supreme Court Registry in Lahore, former Federal Minister Fawad Chaudhry said that the Supreme Court should not be weakened so much that people lose faith, the trust in the courts is decreasing in Pakistan.

He said that the impression of the judicial system of Pakistan is not going well, it seems that Pakistan is a republic that can be made as it pleases.

‘PTI is fighting for the restoration of institutions’

Fawad Chaudhry said that the FIR of the attack on Imran Khan is not being registered, the FIR of the complainant’s will should be registered.

The PTI leader says that the British court imposed a fine on Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, now Pakistan and the British judicial system are being compared.

He said that there has been a crisis in the judicial system, PTI respects the courts, PTI’s fight is for the restoration of institutions and judicial system.

‘Decisions cannot be made in closed rooms in Pakistan’

The former federal minister said that we are demanding for elections, people are not sheep, people should not accept this decision.

Fawad Chaudhry said that decisions should not be made in closed rooms in Pakistan, political decisions should be made by politicians.

‘Institutions and politicians have to accept people’s decisions’

He said that political instability arose after the speaker overstepped his authority. If the speaker had not interfered with his authority, the situation would have been different today.

The PTI leader further said that institutions and politicians have to accept the decisions of the people, the situation cannot be improved until the decisions of the people are accepted.

Tehreek-e-Insaf members filed a constitutional petition

Tehreek-e-Insaf Assembly members filed a constitutional petition in the Supreme Court Lahore Registry. The petition challenged the move not to include the names of the named accused in the FIIR.

In the petition, action has been taken on the Azam Swati incident and Arshad Sharif’s family members have been requested to take action.

The petition was filed by Shah Mehmood Qureshi, former Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar, Shafqat Mehmood and other members of the Assembly. Usman Buzdar submitted the application to the Deputy Registrar Supreme Court Ijaz Guraya.

PTI leaders signed the petition outside the Supreme Court registry.
