Islamabad: The federal government has announced to withdraw appeals against the decision of the Federal Sharia Court regarding interest.

Usury case: State Bank’s request to adjourn the hearing till next year rejected

This announcement was made by Federal Finance Minister Senator Ishaq Dar in a video statement. He has said that they are withdrawing appeals against the decision of the Federal Sharia Court on usurious economy.

Senator Ishaq Dar, the central leader of Pakistan Muslim League (N) said that in recent days, the Federal Sharia Court had given a decision against the usurious system, on which the State Bank of Pakistan had approached the Supreme Court.
