The federal government has established a temporary jail in Islamabad.

According to the details, the federal government has given the status of sub-jail to the CIA Center Industrial Area, a notification has also been issued to declare the CIA Center as a sub-jail.

According to the notification issued by the Chief Commissioner Islamabad, the records of prisoners in all jails will be kept by a grade seventeen officer.

In the coming days, the arrested political activists will be kept in Jail-I-Nine CIA Center.

Due to the absence of its own jail in the federal capital, a temporary jail has been set up in view of possible arrests of Tehreek-e-Insaaf workers.
