The construction work of Naltar Expressway will be completed by June, Khalid Khurshid

Gilgit-Baltistan Chief Minister Khalid Khurshid has said that the construction work of Naltar Expressway will be completed by June.

According to the details, Chief Minister Gilgit-Baltistan Khalid Khurshid has visited Nomal village of Gilgit district, in which he was briefed regarding the implementation of special projects of Nomal village, 10-bed hospital and water supply scheme approved in the year 2021-22. A briefing was also given regarding the construction of Naltar Expressway.

Chief Minister Gilgit-Baltistan Khalid Khurshid said that water supply scheme and 10 bedded hospital are very important projects while both the projects have been specially approved keeping in mind the demand of the people and their interest.

On this occasion, the Chief Minister of Gilgit-Baltistan directed the authorities to complete the construction of both projects within the stipulated time while ensuring the quality and also announced the extension of water supply scheme to Faizabad Nomal.

The Chief Minister also inspected the construction site of Faizabad village Nomal safety dam and directed the concerned authorities to take immediate steps regarding its construction.

On this occasion, the Chief Minister reiterated his determination that the construction work of Naltar Expressway will be completed by the coming June, while due to budget cuts and delay in the release of funds by the federal government, important projects are getting delayed.

Ahlian Nomal paid tribute to Chief Minister Khalid Khurshid for resolving the long-standing demand of the people and approving the water and hospital projects and also appreciated the efforts of the Chief Minister regarding the development of the province.

On this occasion, along with Chief Minister Gilgit-Baltistan Khalid Khurshid, Construction Minister Wazir Saleem, Health Minister Haji Gulbar Khan, Special Assistant Ilyas Siddiqui, and other relevant officials were also present.
