Rawalpindi: PTI to show people power today – Hum News


Rawalpindi: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has won ground in Rawalpindi. Caravans started arriving from all over the country.

A stage was set up by PTI on Murree Road near Rehmanabad for the rally and PTI workers from across the country have started arriving in caravans.

The district administration allowed the PTI to hold a rally on 26 points, according to which the venue must be vacated before 12 midnight. A stage 80 feet wide, 40 feet long and 2 feet high has been prepared for the rally, while an elevator has also been installed due to Imran Khan’s injury.

A 200 feet long ramp is being prepared for Imran Khan while a bulletproof container will also be installed. 2,000 police personnel and officers are performing their duties while expert shooters are posted on tall buildings.

CPO Rawalpindi and SSP Operations are monitoring the security.

2 parking points have been made for the participants of the long march. One parking lot has been constructed on the ground of Civil Aviation Authority on Rawal Road while the other parking lot has been constructed on Degree College Fifth Road. Convoys coming from Islamabad will enter from Koral through Rawal Road while convoys coming from GT Road will also enter through Rawal Road. Convoys from the Motorway will reach Jalsa Gah from IJP Road via Fifth Road.
