New Delhi: Pakistan’s Hisham Hadi Khan has won the Asia Cup Youth Scrabble Championship by defeating India in India.
According to the news agency, Pakistan’s Hisham Hadi Khan has once again become the Asian champion in the Youth Scrabble Championship held in the Indian capital, New Delhi.
Hisham Hadi Khan successfully defended his title defeating India’s Madhav Gopal Kamath in the final.
Hisham Hadi Khan, who reached the finals of the three-day event, took the lead from the second day of play, with a two-day score of 1420.
Pakistan’s Monis Khan also made the highest individual score of 760 against a Malaysian player in the championship.
It should be noted that there was a competition between 60 players from 11 countries in the Asian Championship, six players from Pakistan have been in the top ten.
Championship winner Hisham Hadi Khan stood first, India’s Madhav Gopal Kamath second and Affan Salman third.
Pakistan’s Monis Khan has won the U-16 title and Ahmed Salman has also won the U-12 title.
