Moscow: A high-level delegation of Pakistan has left for Moscow to negotiate to buy cheap crude oil from Russia.
According to the Russian news agency ‘Tas’, the Pakistani delegation is led by Federal Minister of State for Petroleum Senator Dr. Mossadegh Malik, while he is accompanied by Secretary Petroleum Captain (R) Muhammad Mahmood and other relevant senior officials.
The Pakistani delegation will hold discussions with the relevant authorities in Moscow regarding the early start of work on the stream gas pipeline that will be constructed near Lahore from Karachi.
According to the news agency, Pakistan is willing to buy crude oil from Russia at the same price as India buys it.
It should be noted that Federal Finance Minister Senator Ishaq Dar said in October 2022 that Pakistan is thinking about buying cheap oil from Russia.
