A negative trend has been recorded in the Pakistan Stock Exchange index on the fourth day of the business week.
According to the details, the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) index had a mixed trend on the fourth day of the business week, with the 100 index losing 164 points at the end of the day due to bearishness.
The PSX 100 index closed down 164 points at 42,819.
During the business day, the index remained in the band of 329 points, where its highest level was 43 thousand 104, while 18 crore shares worth more than 6 billion rupees were traded in the stock market today.
Besides, the market capitalization has decreased by 32 billion rupees to 6 thousand 836 billion rupees.
On the other hand, the continuous increase in the dollar price continues, the increase in the dollar price in the interbank has also been recorded on the fourth day of the business week.

According to the data released by the State Bank of Pakistan, the value of the dollar has increased by 26 paise in the interbank.
According to forex dealers, the dollar closed at 222.67 rupees from 222.41 interbank.
