A negative trend has been recorded in the Pakistan Stock Exchange index on the second day of the business week.
According to the details, the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) index had a mixed trend on the second day of the business week, with the 100 index losing 53 points at the end of the day due to bearishness.
The PSX 100 index closed down 53 points at 42,796.
During the business day today, the 100 index remained in a band of 292 points, where the highest level was 43 thousand 35 and the lowest level was 42 thousand 748.
18.86 million shares were traded in the stock market today, the value of which was 7 billion 41 billion rupees, while the market capitalization decreased by 7 billion rupees to 6 thousand 861 billion rupees.
On the other hand, the price of the dollar continues to fluctuate continuously, and the price of the dollar in the interbank has recorded an increase on the second day of the business week.
According to the data released by the State Bank of Pakistan, the value of the dollar has increased by 22 paise in the interbank.

According to forex dealers, the dollar closed at 221.91 rupees from 221.69 interbank.
