The Chief Minister of Punjab has said that the Long March should be monitored by drone cameras, there will be no compromise on the foolproof security of the participants.

According to the details, a high-level meeting regarding the security of the Long March was held under the chairmanship of Punjab Chief Minister Chaudhry Parvaizalhi, in which Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Asad Umar, Monis Elahi, Omar Ayub, Hussain Elahi participated.

In the meeting, former foreign minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that the sacrifices of the police are seen with admiration, I did not criticize the police department in my speech but expressed concerns about the individual.

The former foreign minister said that Imran Khan thanked the police twice for the excellent security arrangements in Gujranwala, like the police, there are talented officers and average officers in every department.

Shah Mehmood Qureshi also said that there was an assassination attack on Imran Khan, the delay in the FIR caused public concern and raised questions.

Former Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi further said that my speech was given a wrong color, the FIR registered has been rejected by everyone, some elements are afraid of our long march, they do not want this march to take place.

On this occasion, Asad Umar said that the police provided the best security during the long march, and will proceed with the best coordination during the long march starting from Thursday.

The police officials presented the proposed plan regarding the security of the long march.

While presiding over the meeting, Chief Minister Punjab Parvaizalhi said that full security should be provided in every city from Wazirabad to Rawalpindi, snipers should be posted on the roofs of the buildings along the long march route.

Parvaizalhi said that 15,000 police personnel will be deployed on the long march route from Wazirabad to Rawalpindi, and the police control room will perform its duties 24 hours a day.

The Chief Minister of Punjab while directing the surveillance of Long March with drone cameras said that the march should be monitored with drone cameras and 2-tier security fence should be built around the Long March.

He said that the use of bullet-proof rostrum and bullet-proof glass should be ensured on the container, a new bullet-proof container should be prepared, the Punjab government will provide all possible support in this regard.

Parvaizalhi also said that the other accomplices of the accused who threatened to kill Imran Khan in Hafizabad should also be brought to justice.

Punjab Chief Minister Chaudhry Pervaizalhi further said that the police force is my team, I value their sacrifices.

Mian Mehmoodur Rashid, Umar Sarfaraz Cheema, Chief Secretary Abdullah Sanbal, Additional Chief Secretary Interior Captain Retd Asadullah Khan, Additional IG Special Branch, Additional IG Operations Punjab, CCPO Lahore, Additional IGC CTD, DG Punjab Emergency Services Dr. Rizwan Naseer, Commissioner Gujarat Division, DIG Operations Punjab, RPO Gujarat, Deputy Commissioners and DPOs of Gujarat, Sialkot, Wazirabad, Hafizabad and DPOs attended the meeting.

Commissioner Rawalpindi Division, RPO Rawalpindi, CPO Rawalpindi, Deputy Commissioners and DPOs of Jhelum also participated in the meeting through video link.
