Imam Kaaba Sheikh Abdul Rahman Al-Sudais has emphasized on the implementation of social media ban laws.
According to the Arab News Agency, the Imam of the Kaaba, Sheikh Abdul Rahman Al-Sudis, said during his Friday sermon that most celebrities on social media are doing strange things for their cheap fame.

He said that ‘fear Allah and avoid nonsense, it is necessary for the good education of your children to keep them away from social media’.
He has appealed to the Muslims to ‘invite people to the true religion, serve the nation and promote goodness for the development and security of the country’.
Imam Kaaba said that celebrities share their private lives on social media, which creates a feeling of deprivation in people and creates many problems like hatred.
He has urged governments to enforce laws banning social media and legislate to regulate it.
