Heavy rain in Islamabad, weather turned cold – Hum News

It has rained in many parts of the country including the federal capital Islamabad and its twin city Rawalpindi. The weather of the city has become pleasant and cold due to heavy rain.

According to the meteorological department, this series of rains is likely to continue for 3 days.

On the other hand, more than 80 feeders supplying electricity have been faulted and tripped due to strong winds and rains in most areas of Isco region.

Feeders of Iqbal Town, Khanna Dak, Lohi Bhir, G Six, Golra, G Ton, NPF feeders of Islamabad circle have been affected.

Apart from this, the feeders of Liaquat Bagh, Kayani Road, Chakra, Zia Masjid, Jhangi A, Block F, Block Gulistan Colony of Rawalpindi Circle have also been affected.

Due to strong winds and storms, there have been incidents of signboards and trees falling on wires at several places.
