Former all-rounder Abdul Razzaq has parted ways with the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).

According to sources, the former Test cricketer has resigned from the coaching staff of PCB, Abdul Razzaq was part of the coaching staff of PCB for two and a half years.

The former all-rounder coached Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for a year while Abdul Razzaq was appointed as the head coach of Central Punjab last season.

Several objections were raised in the matter of selection against Abdul Razzaq, who performed his duties with the Hyderabad team in the Pakistan Junior League (PJL), while after performing his duties in the PJL, he played for the Central Punjab team. Did not rejoin.

Abdul Razzaq was the head coach of Pakistan Junior League team Hyderabad. Abdul Razzaq was also appointed as the interim bowling coach for the series against New Zealand following the resignation of Misbah-ul-Haq and Waqar Younis.

PCB sources have confirmed the resignation of Abdul Razzaq and clarified that he has resigned due to engagements in various private channels.

It should be noted that according to PCB’s media policy, no employee of the board can work in the media, while Abdul Razzaq was willing to work in the media, due to which he resigned.

Abdul Razzaq has played 46 Tests, 265 One Day Internationals and 32 T20 Internationals while representing the national team.
