Chaudhry Parvez Elahi has said that everyone has to walk together to take the country forward.

According to the details, Gilgit-Baltistan Chief Minister Khalid Khurshid met with Punjab Chief Minister Chaudhry Parvez Elahi in which issues of mutual interest, political situation and measures to promote inter-provincial harmony were discussed.

In the meeting, Chaudhry Pervez Elahi said that the federal government is interfering in every matter of the provincial government, while the federal government’s interference in the provincial affairs is incomprehensible and condemnable.

He said that the attitude of the federation towards Punjab and Gilgit-Baltistan is not appropriate in any way, while Pakistan is a country rich in resources consisting of four units, Azad Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan.

He said that if all the units of the country develop together, then Pakistan will develop, everyone has to work together to take the country forward, while Pakistan will achieve its destination only through joint efforts.

Pervez Elahi said that our government is working on promoting inter-provincial harmony.

He said that the people living in Gilgit-Baltistan are our brothers, their development and prosperity is dear while the Punjab government will continue its role in the construction and development of Gilgit-Baltistan.

Chief Minister Punjab Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi further said that there will be greater cooperation in the health care system, education, information technology and other sectors of Gilgit-Baltistan.

On this occasion, Chief Minister Gilgit-Baltistan Khalid Khurshid thanked Chief Minister Punjab Chaudhry Pervez Elahi for his cooperation in various fields and also invited Pervez Elahi to visit Gilgit-Baltistan.

Khalid Khurshid said that the cooperation of the Punjab government for the development of the people of Gilgit-Baltistan is worthy of praise.

He said that he is grateful for the cooperation of the Punjab government in education, health and other social sectors for the people of Gilgit-Baltistan.

Chief Minister Gilgit-Baltistan Khalid Khurshid further said that the federal government needs to reconsider its attitude.

Provincial Advisor Aamir Saeed Ran, Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Muhammad Khan Bhatti, former Principal Secretary to Chief Minister GM Sikandar and related officials were also present on this occasion.
