The Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) has approved Kisan Package 2022.
According to the details, a meeting of the Economic Coordination Committee was held under the chairmanship of Federal Finance Minister Ishaq Dar, in which the approval of 47 billion rupees grant for the upcoming general elections was delayed for the Election Commission.
Kisan Package 2022 was approved in the meeting, while the size of agricultural loans was increased from 1419 billion to 1802 billion rupees.
ECC approved to reduce the price of DAP fertilizer from Rs.13750 to Rs.11250.
In the meeting, the proposal to change the name of Prime Minister Successful Youth Entrepreneurship Scheme was approved, the new name was fixed as Prime Minister Youth Business and Agriculture Loan Scheme.
During the meeting, ECC decided to make the scheme more useful for small business and agriculture sector, interest free micro and agricultural loans will be given under the scheme.
ECC also approved the transfer of the land of Heavy Electrical Complex to Heavy Mechanical Complex, while 2 billion 92 crore rupees was approved for the purchase of Corona vaccine in the current financial year.
