Consultation of the President of the State with Imran Khan on the appointment of the Army Chief

Lahore: Head of Media Affairs of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Fawad Chaudhary has said that President Dr. Arif Alvi has discussed with the Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Imran Khan the constitutional, legal and political issues of appointing a new army chief.

Meeting with Imran Khan, President reached Lahore

Former Federal Minister Fawad Chaudhary said in a conversation with the media that in the 45-minute meeting between President Dr. Arif Alvi and former Prime Minister Imran Khan, all issues regarding the appointment of the Army Chief were discussed.

He said that all matters of the appointment of the Army Chief will be in accordance with the constitution and law.

It should be noted that the former Prime Minister Imran Khan had also said a day ago that he would consult with the President, the party chairman, about the appointment of the Army Chief.
