Cold weather after winter fog, rain and snow

After rain in the upper regions of the country and snowfall in the mountains, cold winds took over. Chilliness increased in most areas.

Rains and snow in the mountains in the northern regions of the country including Gilgit-Baltistan, Azad Kashmir and North Balochistan made the weather cold.

It snowed in the upper hilly areas of Shangla while it rained in the lower areas. It snowed on Shangla Top, Yakhtangi Top, Ajmer Top, Gamatal and other areas.
Intermittent rain continues in Mirpur Azad Kashmir and surrounding areas.

Intermittent rain continues in the twin cities of Rawalpindi, Islamabad and surrounding areas. The weather became cold due to cold winds and cloudy skies.

The weather became very cold due to continuous rain for several hours in Malika Kohsar Murri and snowfall in Guliyat Valley. Cold winds settled in many cities including DI Khan, Mansehra, Attock after rain. Rain and hailstorm also occurred in Ziarat. which increased the severity of the cold.

According to the Meteorological Department, rain with strong winds and thundershowers will occur in Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Upper Punjab and Balochistan today, while there is a possibility of snowfall in the hilly areas, the weather will remain dry in other parts of the country.
