Attack on Imran Khan: Petition for judicial inquiry submitted to Supreme Court

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf has approached the Supreme Court for a judicial inquiry into the attack on Chairman PTI.

Under the leadership of PTI leader Shah Mehmood Qureshi, PTI submitted a request for a judicial inquiry into the attack on Imran Khan in the Supreme Court Lahore Registry.

It has been said in the petition that an attempt was made to remove Imran Khan from the path by carrying out a murderous attack. A commission should be constituted for judicial investigation of the matter.

After the murder, the police refused to register a case on our request. The police refused to register a case on the 3 names given by Imran Khan.

It has been argued in the petition that the police is bound to register a case as per the petition under the Criminal Code.

In the petition, it is requested to investigate the cases of Imran Khan attack, Arshad Sharif murder and Azam Swati video and free press.

Vice Chairman PTI Shah Mahmood Qureshi says that they are demanding the establishment of a judicial commission. The application has been submitted in the Karachi and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Supreme Court registry.

They say that there should be an investigation into the assassination of Imran Khan. Azam Swati and his wife were humiliated. There should also be an investigation into the murder of Arshad Sharif.
