The value of the dollar continues to rise.
The interbank dollar rate has also recorded an increase on the first day of the new business week.
According to the data released by the State Bank of Pakistan, the value of the dollar has increased by 49 paise in the interbank.
According to forex dealers, the dollar closed at 223.66 rupees from 223.17 interbank.

On the last day of the last business week, the dollar had increased by 50 paise to reach the level of 223.17 rupees.
On the other hand, an increase in the value of the dollar has also been recorded in the open market.
In the open market, the dollar rose by 1 rupee 5 paise to 229 rupees 95 paise to close at 231 rupees.
