Dr. Afifah Qazi from Occupied Kashmir has been honored with the Psychiatrist of the Year 2022 award by the Royal College of Psychiatrists in London.

Dr. Afifah Qazi has been awarded this award for her outstanding services to mental health.

Dr. Afifah Qazi is an alumnus of Government Medical College, Srinagar where she completed her graduation in 1995 after which she moved to UK.

She started her career in psychiatry in the UK and is currently working as the Chief Medical Officer for a major mental health organization in the UK.

He has made significant contributions to the field of mental health in the UK, having previously received several awards in recognition of his services.

Dr. Afifah Qazi has been awarded the Academic Health Science Network Health Innovation Award in 2014 for her services to dementia and the HSJ Award in 2016, the highest honor for healthcare services.

Dr. Qazi has developed an innovative and highly successful model of community care for dementia that reduces hospital admissions and length of stay for people with the disorder.
